It is the duty to report the passing of Michael McVeigh (Commodore Kordan zantai-QanaSon – Global Fleet Commander, CO IKV chi jev) passed away July 12th 2024 after 3 weeks in the hospital. He is interred at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

I was privileged to have known QanaSon (Mike), though we did not meet in person. When Mike first contacted me, he asked to be my Executive Officer for Global Fleet. I had no idea who he was however his enthusiasm and his presentation of his self confidence convinced me that he was capable. Very quickly he proved himself. Very quickly he owned the position of Global Fleet Commander.
I had the honor of meeting him, talking with him, and gaining his advice. It’s a shame we can’t have him with us, but great warriors… always tend to form part of the great Black Fleet. May your exploits and battles echo throughout Sto’Vo’Kor.
