Not sure how old these recipes are, but will attempt 2021 updates (USA/NY state sourced ingredients). For this I used:
15ml Marie Brizard blackberry liqueur
45ml 99 Blackberries (Midnight Moon Blackberry would also work, but I couldn’t find any at my local store)
22.5ml Svedka (any vodka will do)
90ml Ribena Blackcurrant concentrate (purchased from Amazon)
Mix all ingredients, no need to dilute Ribena, just serve over ice. If it’s too sweet for you, sub in water for the Ribena 15ml at a time until to your liking.
According to my math, 43 proof/21.5% abv
this is only a year old. You substitutes are appreciated.
sorry, just realized this had comments. the recipe is mine, and its not very old. i can currently get everything except the black currant juice at the local liquor store. the juice has become alot harder to get, so i am experimenting on how to preserve the color (so black light cant be seen through it) while maintaining its tart taste, i may try that brand of black berry liquer, is it tart?
i should probably go back through these and add some detail
