Our first meeting as an officially launched ship in KAG – although we have been in effective operation for a couple months now.
Meeting was attended by nearly all hands:
LCDR Mor’tah
SGT Hey’mIS
SGT Na’Tan
SGT M’Sai
LCPL ‘Em’ihley
LCPL Rihkh
with LCDR Mek’tor presiding.
The primary function of the meeting was to determine our ship name and class and begin drafting our proposal to launch the ship. The name ADJUDICATOR was selected to reflect many of the crew’s roots of KAG service twenty years ago aboard DARK JUSTICE. Indeed there was consideration of reviving the name DARK JUSTICE, and permission from Kordite was secured; this having been a suggestion of Admiral Qob a year or so ago when I began looking for crew. Ultimately it was decided to take the new name, and to seek a new identity, leaving DARK JUSTICE in Pittsburgh.
The subject of uniforming was discussed – it is a tricky thing to do in Japan and our specific challenges were discussed. The tentative plan is to pursue TOS/TAS style uniforms; indeed the purple TAS uniforms have become something of a goal of the crew since.
Our outstanding challenges for the month were reviewed, with activity in the Community Service, Meeting, Gaming and Writing aspects. Neither Art not Build saw activity this month. Additionally we successfully completed our first Challenge Goal with the EcoCap donation of 800 caps. Na’Tan, M’Sai, Rihkh, ‘Em’ihley, and myself earning battle notches (the first of this vessel) for contributing to the goal. SGT Na’Tan deserves special acknowledgement for his superlative work in the project; his house was responsible for almost half of all caps donated thus far.
Indeed that donation has also brought us close to achieving a second goal in EcoCap… with 631+ of a second 800-cap goal collected.
Finally, we discussed ship iconography, and decided to contact T’Lor, another DARK JUSTICE veteran, and seek his permission to use a design of his; a KAG contest winning design from about 1992 that was intended as a fleet/quadrant insignia, but which had been abandoned soon after. Following the meeting his permission was secured and a slightly altered version was drafted. [See attached]
In all, a successful start.
End Transmission.

Welcome back! I had the benefit of touring Nagoya, Hiroshima and Kitakyushu when I was a teenager. I look forward to tales of glory from the land of the rising sun!
Well met, my lord.
Should you find yourself in the quadrant again, send us a comm, we can get you to few other sites of historical significance – particularly the Ikko Ikki era of self rule in Kaga Domain. Very interesting stuff.
Qapla’. Look forward to hearing more of your exploits
