On December 17, 2022, at The Spot (local comic book and collectibles store in Newton, NC) the Federation, in the form of the Star Trek Independent Fleet (they’re just a bunch of STIFs), held their annual Christmas Party and local KAG members were invited. Big mistake! Although we have little holo-image evidence to prove it, KAG members made their presence KNOWN!
Attending from the IKV Executioner were IXL Brigadier Keela zantai-Septaric (CO) and crew, then Lt. Cmdr. Martok sutai-lungqIj (XO) and (crew) IXL Lt. S’Risha tai and the Raging Marshmallow (aka Wallaby).
Attending from the KPV Krimson Fury were Lt. Cmdr. Dronoss vestai-Hov Che’ and his mate, Lt. Cmdr. Krikala vestai-Hov Che’.
They alone followed the coded instructions and brought presents to compete in the Dirty Santa Game (a most interesting game with roots no doubt based in Ferengi custom). The Feddies were smart and brought many more Dirty Santa presents than needed, so everyone got at least one free gift and no one had to die. Qapla’!
The feast was potluck. The Executioner crew brought KFC and two liters and the Krimson Fury crew brought delicious vegan offerings. The total spread was pretty good and no one left hungry. A great time was had by all!
One final note: it was awesome to see IXL Lt. Kaltia vestai-Knight at the function. She is a long-time member of the Executioner crew (serving covertly among the STIFs, of course) and she was kind enough to take holo-images of the KAG attendees. Many thanks!
