Due to my continued illness, I sent the local Klingon Ambassador; K’arm to cover the Star Trek meetups scheduled for this event. As there was no central spot for the Ambassador to coordinate his efforts, he milled through the assembled crowd of around 150,000 attendees those four days. He ran into a Florida Klingon (Robert Valentine) and two Klingons from Virginia whose names he was unable to get.
Many KAG.org key chains were distributed to the attendees and arrangements were made to meet other Trek fans at future conventions.
