On July 22nd the fearsome and brave commanding and second officers Lt. Cmdrs. Dronoss and Krikala vestai-Hov che’ of the KPV Krimson Fury invaded the Greensboro Pop Culture Con at the Greensboro Coliseum.
They were joined by 1st LT Way’nar tai-Barr’ur, CO of the IKS Oblivion, and IXL Warrior T’Evie, a Vulcan adopted into house Hov che’ and a long-distance member of the KPV Krimson Fury.
The layout of the convention was strange, and our invasion attempts were somewhat thwarted by this.
We were only able to raise $41 in donations for the NWNC Second Harvest Food bank. This is not enough! An additional amount was matched by the Krimson Fury to bring the total donation amount to a more honorable amount of $100!
Instead of dining out after the con, we ordered a fine meal from Mike’s Vegan Cookout and had lunch together at the con. It was quite delicious for such strange Terran food.
All of the warriors present had holoimages taken by a 3D photographer, but they require silly-looking colored glasses to view the effect.
We look forward to our next invasion! Qapla’!
