On March 27th 2022 the mighty vessels IKV Executioner and the KPV Krimson Fury joined forces once again to invade the spring Charlotte Comic Con.
After establishing our presence, warriors received assistance with makeup and costumes from IXL Brigadier Keela zantai-Septaric. This invasion marked the debut of our life size Borg Queen display, which was feared by many.
In attendance from the KPV Krimson Fury were Lt. Krikala tai-Hov che’, Lt. Dronoss tai-Hov che’, and son IXL Cadet 2nd Lt. Gartok tai-Hov che’; and from the IKV Executioner Lt. Cmdr. Martok vestai lunqIj and Keela. Qapla’!!!
During the invasion, Keela held a promotion ceremony to honor Dronoss and Krikala, elevating them from 2nd Lt tai to First Lt tai. Qapla’ and honor to the house hov che’!!!
A good time was had by all and it was a successful venture for the raising of funds for Kwanzaa Family Inn’s new roof. $440 ($10.19 for petty cash for the Kwanzaa office) was raised and we are grateful to all the huMans who helped us toward our goal.
After the invasion of the Comic con, Lt. Commander Martok warped back to his original coodinates carrying the Borg Queen in her special chamber. The other members enjoyed a feast at Silverlake Ramen in Concord earning additional battle notches for appearing in costume at another location.
A great time was had by all as we look forward to further upcoming invasions.
