ZIlm’kach

Zilm’kach is a Klingon fruit which looks like a small apricot. Its pit is removed before consumption. Zilm’kach is often used to cut the intensity of skull stew and as an after dinner dessert

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. dried apricots

¾ cup molasses

¼ cup golden rum

½ cup unfiltered apple juice

DIRECTIONS:

Combine ingredients and macerate overnight, or microwave for 5 minutes to re-hydrate fruit. Strain.

Add zilm’kach to skull stew or serve as is in a bowl after dinner.
