In a mighty rush of powerful warp engines, the Klingons of KAG descended upon Charlotte’s Embassy Suites Hotel in Concord, NC to invade Dave Hinson’s and Rick Fortenberry’s hugely successful Charlotte Comicon once again!
Attending from the IKV Executioner were IXL Brigadier Keela zantai-Septaric, Cmdr. Martok vestai-lungQIj, 1st Lt. S’Risha tai and her half targ/half Borg, the Raging Marshmallow (Wallaby).
Attending from the KPV Krimson Fury were Lt. Cmdr. Dronoss vestai-Hov che’ and Lt. Cmdr. Krikala vestai-Hov che’.
Attending from the IKS Oblivion were IXL 1st Lt. Way’Nar tai-Barr’ur and his progeny, IXL Cadet 2nd Lt. Eva tai-Barr’ur.
Attending from the IKV Gre’thor’s Revenge was IXL Lt. Taelaan (Brian Holloway) as a Vulcan nobleman.
Once again, we set up our display in the hall just outside of the dealer’s room using convention tables and our own. While the rest of the KAG party took turns manning the table, S’Risha and the Raging Marshmallow patrolled the Dealer’s room in search of donations.
A good time was had by all in attendance and $401.67 was raised for Kwanzaa Family Inn’s continuing roof project!
Afterwards, the victorious warriors traveled to CAVA for delicious Middle Eastern fare and an additional battlenotch for representing KAG at a different venue. Qapla’!
