On the 14th day of the 3rd month of the year 2015 in the Terran Gregorian Calendar, the crew of the Crimson Dawn held their first official function. The humans have laid claim to this day, associating it with the mathematical constant known to them as
But mathematics is universal, and no Klingon warrior will stand for declaring domain over what is ours. We therefore took this day, and made it our own by declaring our inaugural meeting, “Today is a Good Day for Pi!”
The day began with our Commanding Officer, thlarnoQ Mk’naj marching through the streets of Timmins in battle garb, introducing herself to the humans she encountered, and explaining what KAG is. I met her in mundane attire to assist as photographer during her visits to various shops for supplies. I was joined by my nephew, Ghob’Qan, who is a potential new recruit.
When the acquisition of supplies was completed, thlarnoQ climbed to the top of a 20 foot high mountain of snow and declared Timmins to be the domain of the Klingon Empire.
After dropping off our supplies, I donned my armour, and met thlarnoQ in the street for a duel with bet’leths, in honour of our first event. Gho’Qan acted as guest photographer for this portion.
Upon conclusion of our battle, we returned to our landing set to prepare a feast of steak and kidney pie, and a Terran dessert pie made of strawberries and raspberries. It was a meal fit for warriors!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, not all crew members were able to attend. We are hoping to have another event in the near future to make up for it.

In recognition of the completion of our uniforms, Thought Admiral Krikor has granted commissions to myself and thlarnoQ, and with them promotion to the rank of Second Lieutenant.
