What is a Ship?

At friday night of a con, 4 KAG ship's captains sat down in the con suite, none of them were familiar with each other. Capt. K'Fred of the IKV Nosehair introduced himself, and described his ship, they did lots of charity work, blood drives, reading to children, etc. Capt. K'Marge of the Bloody Death told of the kick butt parties they threw at cons and the panels they did at cons. Capt. K'Joe of the Unspeakable Odor showed off the weapons and uniforms they made. Capt. K'Sam of the IKV Rollin' dice talked about their Starfleet battle/Mech tournaments they threw. Which of them had the best ship? You have one right answer: the one that had the most fun.

There is no one right way to play Klingon, each of their approaches are good if they work for them. When you encounter a strange ship that does things differently than you do, it doesn't mean they are either better or worse than you, you aren't in competition, except in those cases where you set up one in order to socialize as warriors. The only ship that is a failure is one that doesn't have a purpose, that doesn't know what it's doing. If you have a clear focus of what you want to do, and do it together, not seeking individual glory, your ship will succeed, if you don't then it will fail.
