- Calling warriors whose blood boils for trekonderoga
There is a convention in ticonderoga in NY State ripe for the picking.. I mean I reached out to the organizers to introduce myself and KAG to them. After a couple sessions in the agonizer booth they admitted to looking for volunteers. KAG members who volunteer can work uniformed security. I will be a presenter at the con discussing Klingon culture. Volunteers who work 8 hours over the 3 days get free general admission. This is where the continuing voyages is filmed and have an authentic ST TOS bridge set. I will need a room but we can put as many klingons in there as Klingonly possible and break up the cost.
I would like to have a table, but no matter how long I kept her in agony, the cost for a table is 100 and gets 2 more of our warriors in free ( a $10 savings over individual admissions), if anyone would like to support us getting a KAG table please contact me and I will give you the information.
We could use as many warriors for security as possible ( in my day we used to be running con security, and hopefully will be that way again)
please contact me if your interested.
“A warrior does not let a friend face danger alone.”
I will do what I must, I will beam down to this Con Myself and seize the Glory myself, if no others are willing to stand with me. I however would prefer to have another Klingon to share the glory with. Any Klingons in the NY Area want to share in the glory of showing this Conventions that we are here, and here to stay.. step forward and be counted…let sing of past battles, drink Bloodwine, and laugh at those too foolish to come here…. who is with me…
This event was Glorious and a success for KAG and the Dark Vengeance Quadrant. Myself and my soon to be ship’s Master of Ceremonies attended manning a recruitment Table and I myself presented a 1 earth hour panel on Klingon Culture. Many contacts were made and at least 2 other KAG members at Large from neighboring states were in attendance. It was indeed a good day to be Klingon. We are certain to be welcomed back again, and I have a contact now with a woman who sits on the board of several trek/cosplay/scifi cons in the NE and we (KAG) have open and free tables at these cons.
