Lieutenant or IXL/Marine Captain

This rank is awarded when a uniformed Warrior has served his ship or division well and  consistently.  The honorific of tai  is carried over with this promotion.  The honorific of vestai is granted as an upgrade to this rank. The rank of Lieutenant and/or the honorific of vestai may be granted by officers at or above the rank of Lt. Commander, whether the Ship’s Commanding Officer, Quadrant Commander, or Fleet Commander.
