Greetings from the Xenobiological Laboratories in Dark Moon Fleet. I've
been beating down several specimens in the laboratory and I must say that
most have been rather dishonorable and disrespectful about it.
As usual, I maintain a general and DMF-related web site for IXL:
IXL:

DMF:

Status of the IXL in Dark Moon Fleet:
There are several members of IXL who are active or are working on becoming
active in DMF:
L.Captain Mirodon Ris, Xenobiologist IKV Executioner (me)
Species: Trill (minor Klingon hybrid)
L.Lieutenant T'Kel (aka Frances Miller, Head of IXL IKV Executioner)
Species: Vulcan
L.Lieutenant Kaltia Knight (aka Erica Pope)
Species: allasomorph/shapeshifter, working on her personas
I have also received a return communication from Capt. Kerla zantai-MaHcha',
Demon Fleet/KPV Dragon's Heart Commander (aka Carol Bockelman) and she informs
me that she has several alien life forms on board her vessel)
I will continue to send out notes to the chapters to see who's active.
Here's one for all my fellow tribble haters (I personally have no problem
with the little buggers, but then I'm a Trill... I have found them to be
quite tasty though)...
Hand Dipped Shredded Tribbles
(Alternate name: dark chocolate coconut clusters):
Ingredients
1 pound semisweet or unsweetened baker's chocolate
(you can substitute milk chocolate or white chocolate as well)
1/4-1/3 cup sugar (you won't need this for the milk or white chocolate)
1/2 cup shredded coconut
You will also need:
A large saucepan
A large round (metal) bowl
About 2-3 cups water
Boil the water, then cover the water, still boiling, with the large round
metal bowl. Place chocolate in the bowl and stir until completely melted
and smooth (typical confectioner's method for melting chocolate)
Mix into the chocolate the sugar, tasting occasionally until semisweet
or sweet (warning: the chocolate will be hot, so take only small amounts
to taste)
Add the coconut until the mixture is thick and semisolid (you should be
able to hold upside down in a spoon)
Spoon about 1" drops onto wax paper or baker's parchment paper and either
freeze or refrigerate until solid. Peel from the paper and enjoy!
