Marine Goings On
by Brook Ramsey < [email protected] >

Here I am, once again imploring all Marine personnel to take an active pride in the activities that they participate in. Two that come to mind are the Marine Honor Guard and the somewhat rare Marine Medical Badge. The requirements for both of these worthwhile awards are fairly straightforward and to the point.

To be a member of the Honor Guard, you must have performed 3 personal security details as well as spent sufficient time in duty to show proficiency in the areas required for such a position. The reward for such hard work is being one of the privileged few who are called upon to guard KAG’s finest personnel.

To be rewarded with the Marine Medical Badge you must have been either military or Red Cross-certified in First Aid as well as CPR. This reward is held by precious few in our division. The first person to ever hold this award was Col. Baalaq sutai-Qaaluhr (who was recently promoted to Cold Terror Fleet Field Marshall). He is a fine example of the kind of Klingon we should all aspire to be. Kai Baalaaq!

Over the last few months, it has been a welcome sight to see so many of KAG’s groups really working together. With the camaraderie I have seen, it’s easy to see why KAG is still growing by leaps and bounds. We should all strive to continue this friendship!

Kai KAG!
For the Marines,
