KAG IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT....

Klingon Warriors
this IS Krud!

KAG Australia has undergone massive changes over the past year! We have gone from weakness to STRENGTH! June marks the anniversary of the birth of the Sundragon Fleet. Yes our Quadrant status was upgraded to that of Fleet, on the Queens Birthday weekend 1998! And now, one year later, the SUNDRAGON FLEET moves from being part of KAG International to being a full fledged KAG Naval Fleet! QAPLA' !

In the past few months, we have seen a new trend emerge in KAG Australia. Not content with just being on a ship, many warriors, with specific talents have undertaken to specialize in a chosen area, and form a "Department"! This has done nothing but IMPROVE KAG Australia out of sight! We have the Fleet Staff department, who put together all our guidelines, certificates, the Warriors Way, just for starters... We have the Quarter Masters department who have been doing stunning work in the manufacture of wooden imitation weapons! The Warriors Academy started its first intake this year, with weapons handling training as well as cultural information to develop the warrior skills of those who participate! Our Institute of Engineers is churning and burning on the web side of things, and have some great plans in the future! I only hope some enterprising Warrior, won't start a Klingon Occupational Health and Safety, this may be straying from our warrior mentality a bit!

OK, some people do so much, and others nothing at all! Some say that others are taking it all to seriously! Well, in my opinion, KAG is what YOU PERSONALLY make of it! If you are content to sit on the side lines and get enjoyment in watching, and a small amount of participation, that's cool, but don't begrudge others for the effort they put in, that's how THEY have fun. If you are one of the active members who are passionate about expanding your chosen area of KAG, GO FOR IT! You do the Empire proud! As long as you remember, that not everyone may have your dedication and passion for what you are doing! Don't look down upon those who don't want the same level of commitment to this hobby that you do! It's called mutual respect! I am all for going in full charge and doing something, but I can also really relate to sitting back and just enjoying things quietly as well!
