Morganton Con, sponsored by Timmy Mac’s Comics and Collectibles, was held at the Morganton Recreation Center in Morganton, NC on February 20, 2016. The event was attended by IKV Raging Wolf members Keela (CO), K’Lisa (Lisa Watson), Kromag (Kurt Roberts) and K’Harm (Keela’s 5-year-old niece). $140 was raised for the septic system for Kwanzaa Family Inn women’s shelter. Also during the event, Keela and K’Harm warped over to a birthday party that was being held for the 6-year-old daughter of her part-time employer. While there, Kwanzaa Family Inn also received canned goods and other donations from the birthday party attendees. Thanks to all who donated at both locations and to the Warriors that manned the table. All costumed Warriors receive a battle notch. Qapla’!
