On April 23-24, 2016 Inside Pitch hosted another Toy and Sports Card show at the Charlotte Metrolina Convention Center, the final one at that venerable location. On Saturday, Keela of the IKV Raging Wolf, Kas’Duj of the IKV Executioner, and Mek’Tor of the IKV Mek’Tor’s Revenge worked hard raising funds for Kwanzaa Family Inn.
Mek’Tor did not arrive Sunday, but Kas’Duj and Keela continued to battle. They decided, at Kas’Duj’ suggestion, to combine their two ships with him as the CO and Keela as the XO. It would be a move that would benefit KAG in their area.
The fundraiser was very hard work, but $175 over a period of two days was eventually raised for Kwanzaa Family Inn women’s shelter towards their septic system. A battle notch was earned by all participating warriors. Qapla’!
