IKS roSwI’ at Starbase Indy

Once again, Thanksgiving weekend has brought us to Starbase Indy!

Thursdayevening, members of the IKS roSwI’ boarded my personal shuttle, Lt. Z, and set course for Indianapolis. We arrived at my mate’s House’s grounds and were greeted with a feast. Their land is strategically located near the Federation’s Starbase Indy making it a prime staging point for the next day’s activities.

K’rad lent me a command chair and a weapon’s display which I shuttled over to the Starbase Thursday night and stored them in K’Temok’s guest quarters.

We docked our shuttle at the starbase Friday afternoon and got our security clearance badges.

cha”Iv and cheS went straight to “Tribble Taxidermy”. This is an ongoing tradition at this particular base. Beforehand, hunters go out and kill Tribbles. Then, their pelts are removed and cleaned. The pelts are then provided to guests at the base to stuff as “hunting trophies”.

Humans have odd traditions and frown on killing the Tribbles on the base.

I met up with other Klingons who had traveled to that sector, and even got the chance to meet the esteemed Marc Okrand.

mIl’oD discovered that there was a Klingon Hug Dungeon on the station and headed off to… cuddle. He reports that multiple species were involved including other Klingons and at least one Orion.

cha”Iv managed to procure a 23rd century Federation tricorder. We will see what technological secrets it may reveal.

Varra attended a VIP reception while I shuttled cha”Iv and cheS back to their temporary quarters. When I returned to the station, I headed to the KLI Party Room where we finished off the evening.

When we returned Saturday morning, cha”Iv and cheS headed out to “Tribble Fashions” while I went to prepare for K’Temok and T’starla’s wedding, which I officiated. The ceremony went smoothly enough and several dignitaries were in attendance. Human medical privacy laws prevented me from finding out how severe the wounds were that night.

I believe recordings of the ceremony are floating around online.

cha”Iv and cheS then attended a seminar on “Make Your Own Alien” which I’m assuming was on genetics. After that, mIl’oD and pagh attended the Trek Bear Picnic where a statue of Worf, son of Mogh was won as a prize.

Marc Okrand then spent the next hour teaching the Feddies how to pronounce our glorious tongue. Videos of this are online as well.

cha”Iv and cheS once again left early to attend to other duties while Varra and I ended up in the KLI Party Room. The evening was filled with song and drink with the songs being provided by the talented jenbom. The songs are also online.
