Hail Warriors, CO, IXL Brigadier Keela and myself Chief Medical Officer, Lt. Martok represented KAG at the Poison Apple Tattoo Comic Con in Connelly Springs, NC on Saturday Dec. 7th 2019. It was an outdoor event and the weather was like a balmy summer day on Rura Pethe where we battled to raise money for the Kwanzaa Family Inn Womens Shelter. It was a long fought battle but we managed to raise $50.00 to put towards their Christmas fund so the women and children staying at the shelter will have a Christmas. We had lots of photo ops and also Santa requested to have his picture taken with us. So overall it was a successful day… Qapla’!
