Thursday:

We all arrived via shuttle to the hotel convention center Denver Marriott DTC. I had assigned the Pounders to arrive early and setup the Party Room and the Panel room.. In glorious fashion they had everything ready by the time I got there.. My thanks to them..

We unpacked the shuttle and I setup the Media cart that would be used in both rooms.. made for easy transport of all our A/V equipment..

We settled in with a Nice Cigar and some good Ferengi Snail Juice.. and called it an early night as we had been tasked with promoting Starfest at the local Fox channel in the early AM.

Friday:
Was an early morning and we arrived ready to be taken by shuttle to the Fox channel Everyday Show. We spent several hours there promoting the convention, KAG and House VamPyr!!

We arrived back at the convention and proceeded to prepare for the events days. You can see our schedule here.

We started training by welcoming guest to the Klingonfest. This was followed by Klingon Naming.. Many new Klingons were given names and this was a very successful panel..

Our next panel was the Photo Scavenger hunt. This is one of our most popular event and we have 30+ participants..

This was followed by several costuming panels, A Klingon episode of Enterprise and final the room was setup for Karaoke.

While this was happening.. House VamPyr had a thank you party for all its members.. Unfortunately we were shut down early and had to enjoy cigars and Scotch out in the Patio!!

Saturday:

Saturday began at 9 o Early.. and Fleet Admiral K’var presented panels on Klingon Kulture, and The Honor of Kahless, both excellent training panels.

D’nuop preformed Young Klingon Bat’leth training in the Large Atrium.

A new human instructor Joe taught Klingon Battle Maneuvers to eager participants.. and this was followed by Klingon 101 taught by Lord VamPyr!

Several of our weapons masters (Mor’att and Kayden) were glorious enough to put on the Adult Klingon Warriors tournament . While this was on we showed more Klingon Episodes DS9 this time.

Our Next panel was Dancing With Weapons. This was a training class in warrior movements while using different types of weapons..  Excellent class that I myself participated in.

We followed all this with a meeting of all the House VamPyr Ships that are part of KAGs Klin-Fire Fleet. Their reports will follow mine..  Many awards were given for glorious participation and selfless work for charities and the group..

We also had a moment to reflect on fallen warriors and give a death howl to those we lost over the past year!!

After this was completed we headed to the Party and Danced, drank, and had fun far into the morning!!

Sunday:

Sunday began at 10AM with Mor’att providing equipment to play Artemis.. this is a was a big success and we had many glorious battle in space!! Qapla’

Sunday is our Kids panel day and we had many happy young warriors attend these panels.

We finished our weekend by awarding prizes to those who completed the Scavenger Hunt that had been started Friday!

It was a glorious convention and I believe we should see many new warriors join our ranks.

Reports from other ships.

IKS meyIS HEGH.
The crew of th IKS meyIS Hegh had a great time at StarFest!! Kara, Nich and D’Lara had many glorious adventures while exploring all the offerings for Klingon warriors. Nich enjoyed helping young warriors to learn the finer arts of battle in the skill of “Bop” and play an interesting game of “hockey” with those horrible creatures, tribbles. Kara also enjoyed entertaining Klingon young with the art of Koloring and the making of “silly putty.” D’lara enjoyed wandering the halls and inspecting all the different races that attended and partaking in the listening of the “Guests of Honor”. The whole crew rallied around to play Artemis and managed (after a few botched attempts) to bring honor to our house! Fun was had by all at both the glorious Klingon house parties where the blood wine never ran out! Glory to House VamPyr! Qapla’!

USS Perseus

I was only there on Saturday. But while I was there, I took pictures of costumes, visited members of The Brig, and sat at the house table so Julian could take a potty Break. I also found  katana in the Dealer’s Room that just needed some touching up. (I was very excited about that.) And ate at Garcias & Darcy’s for lunch and dinner.

USS Ragnarok

Here is my report: Con went well. Artemis was quite entertaining. The request to change Quest Martins rank to Ships Ambassador was put forward.my crew and I had a lot I fun and we look forward to the next con.

IKS Tiburon

Friday May 2, I lead a small landing party of, myself, K’Mara and K’embri to join our other house members at a locally broadcast transmission promoting Klingonfest. After running some earned we arrived at Klingonfest.

I spent several hours either sitting at my post in the Klingon Embassy, then went searching for familiar faces amongst con goers.

Later that night, I helped set up for Echoes in space Karaoke, then went to participate in a Trivia challenge, which I lost due to poorly written questions.

May 3

I did not arrive at the con to late that afternoon due to a personal obligation. Once I did arrive I spent a lot of time at Starfleet’s Region 17  fan Table. I then attended the House Vamp’yr meeting and received awards for my triumphs

After dinner I attended the glorious Empire party till I had to escort K’mara home.

May 4: After attending Starfleet’s Region 17 meet and greet awards panel, I returned to the Embassy to take part in the running of Artimis bridge simulator. I hope to see this as a continuing event in the future.

Ship and crew were about in the galaxy.  Saw some pretty strange life forms but exploration was at its best. Ended up with two new crew members Will Balaz and Kevin Last name unkown at this time). The little Klingons did well in tribble hockey and batleth training. Should become great warriors someday. All made it home safely ready for the next exploration trip.
