    AER: Operation Archon 38
276th – 279th days of Battle, 639th year of Kahless
    Battlefield…Collinsville, Illinois, Earth, Sol System.

Major Korath, Head of Security, IKV Black Thunder, reporting:

Having returned to the Black Thunder after glorious battle at the Archon Station, I have time to sit and gather my thoughts on this past weekend’s adventures.

Archon, Day 1: I departed my domicile for the Black Thunder at the crack of dawn. Upon arrival to the ship, I was greeted by Admiral Qob! and Captain Ja’Pa. I found the good Captain had acquired a terran vessel for travel to Archon station. A wise tactic, as we knew not the extent of the Federation’s infestation of the station. As we departed the Black Thunder in the vessel UHAUL, we immediately found the navigational equipment to be lacking. Somewhere during out course, the navigational system failed, and we were forced to make our way through the backroads of ILL-eh-NOISE. Odd name for a territory. Finally, we arrived at the Archon Station, a full hour AFTER our ETA. Myself, being in the navigator’s station, was naturally blamed for the faulty directions. But, when you are travelling with an Admiral and a Captain, and you’re just a M.Capt…well, as Kahless said, crap rolls downhill. Upon checking into the Station, we were glad to find fellow Klingons, and surprised at the lack of Federation personnel. Perhaps they were warned of our arrival and fled like the cowardice dogs they are. Since we had a little time to kill [but no Feddies to kill], I took the opportunity to partake of some terran food. IT’S COOKED!!!!! Aside from that, I found it to be acceptable. I also took a stroll through the station’s promenade. While I did find a vast assortment of geekery, including some nice pointy things, I was angered by the lack of KLINGON items. I did however add to my growing collection of tiny ships. A brief general meeting was held to prepare for the forthcoming events the following day. This was later followed by drink, song, and comradery into the late hours of the night.

Archon, Day 2: After a short nights rest, I awoke to don my armor and join my fellow warriors in celebrating 25 glorious years of KAG!!! I arrived at the venue for this celebration and quickly unpacked the various awards, medals, and shiney things for the day. Thought Admiral Krikor opened the general meeting with the warrior anthem lead by Jenbom. Then we heard tales of battle and triumph from across the fleets. We celebrated the promotion of Qurgh to ADMIRAL!!! We also saw the induction of Kroesh into the Order of Klingon Bastards, and the awarding of the KAG Commendations, one of which THIS warrior was honored to receive. Finally, we celebrated the union of Athena and Dietor, two hearts beating as one!! QAPLA’!!! Later that evening, we enjoyed the station’s Masquerade, where Admiral Kragtow debuted his Kurgan, from Highlander. If ever there was a terran worthy of a place in Sto Vo Kor, Kurgan was he. Finally, it was time to head to the KAG room party and drink like it was 2099!!! Warnog, Blood Wine, and assorted other beverages [I found myself enjoying a little Canadian Maple Whiskey, while I know Admiral Qob! enjoyed some 18 year old Scotch!]. Somewhere around 0230 hours, Admiral Qob! decided we had celebrated victories enough, and dismissed us from the party room.

Archon, Day 3: After not enough sleep, we joined together once again for TOS Sunday. It was great to see so many warriors dressed in black and gold!!! Krikor presented the Best Imperial Uniform awards, while Kris awarded the Best TOS Uniform awards. Od’winn and Kos presented the awards for the Imperial Shipyards. Kragtow presented a special award to Ja’Pa. And myself, I received a promotion from Col. MarQis. We ended with a group picture!!! The remainder of the day was spent with relaxing, shopping, and for some, sight-seeing!!! To end the day, several of us enjoyed some Terran BBQ!!! Even though its cooked, it was quite worthy of a warrior!!!!

Archon, Day 4: We departed Archon station early in the morning. This time, we relied on KLINGON navigational equipment. Far more superior!!! As with any return trip, there was much discussion of the future. Ideas flowed freely on topics ranging from room parties, to con vehicles, to KAG recruiting. When we arrived back at the IKV Black Thunder, myself and Admiral Qob! departed in our perspective shuttles to return to our domiciles.

Final thoughts: It was great seeing everyone again. I’m always glad for the chance to meet with other Klingons from around the world; swapping ideas and plans for the future of KAG, rejoicing in con stories, and celebrating the lives of those we’ve lost to the Black Fleet. I look forward to the next gathering of the fleets!! Until then, my fellow warriors.
