On February 26, 2022, three mighty vessels from Dark Star Quadrant’s central portion invaded the Wilkes Comic Con in Wilkesboro, NC. Arriving at the Stone Center, the IKV Executioner, flag ship of the quadrant took point in set up. The majesty of the KAG table and command chair display attracted many to our area.
Soon after both the KPV Krimson Fury and the IKV Mahless Heart representatives docked and proceeded to armor up. Three of the respective crews received assistance from Keela with makeup and costuming to achieve the desired fearsome presence.
Honorable warriors in attendance from the IKV Mahless Heart were 2nd Lt. Lontesh Koli tai-Trekkan and her boyfriend Rura Pente Warrior Brandon; from the KPV Krimson Fury were 2nd Lt. Krikala tai-Hov che’, 2nd Lt. Dronoss tai-Hov che’, and son Cadet 2nd Lt. Gartok tai-Hov che’; and from the IKV Executioner Lt. Cmdr. Martok vestai lunqIj and Keela. Qapla’!!!
A good time was had by all and it was a successful venture for the raising of funds for Kwanzaa Family Inn’s new roof. $460 cash and $57.14 in Square donations was collected. Many thanks to the kind huMans who donated and especially to the crews of the IKV Executioner, KPV Krimson Fury and IKV Mahless Heart (which traveled the furthest to battle…Qapla’!).
Afterwards, the IKV Mahless Heart crew warped back to their home coordinates of Jacksonville, NC. The KPV Krimson Fury detoured on their trip home to fly to Lenoir, NC with the IKV Executioner to feast at the Empire Buffet, earning an additional battle notch for their appearance in another venue!
Plans continue for further invasions in the month of March!
