At the end of May, the glorious warriors of the IKS pongHa’lu’ conquered the Claddagh Irish pub in the name of the Klingon empire!
Our commander of many years, Lieutenant Commander naHQun vestai-ronIy, has left the Indianapolis area to conquer French Lick and command the Cold Steel Quadrant. Joining him in this endeavor are his Orion consort, IXL Captain Varra D’nevnesh, their daughter, 2nd Lieutenant cha”Iv tai-ronIy, and their son, whose Klingon name is presently a military secret.
naHQun has passed on command of the pongHa’lu’ to IXL Captain yIH’a’na’ vestai-tIr ngogh QaD, an Andorian who is proud to carry on the ship’s traditions.
The dinner was attended by many Klingon warriors, including Lance Corporals SanHuD and Heather Myers, and Corporal Ian Myers, of the pongHa’lu’. We were also honored by the presence of three Animated Series Klingons who traveled from Ohio for the event: Lieutenant K’Temok tai-lungqIj, IXL Lieutenant Alin tai-Prinna, and another Klingon whose name and rank are classified.
Two of the pongHa’lu’s crew, Second Lieutenants chaj and leSwI’, were fighting to protect others from the dishonorable enemy “breast cancer” that night. We wish them success in this fight!
Several Klingons from the nearby Outpost Battlespear were also in attendance: commanding officer Second Lieutenant K’Rad tai-Makura, second officer Lance Corporal Garth Makura, and crew member Second Lieutenant parmaq’jIH tai-Makura.
The pongHa’lu’ extended a flag of truce to a Federation ship stationed nearby, the USS Indiana, who pose no threat to us at present. Several of their officers also attended the dinner.
All in all we had twenty attendees at our feast, and enjoyed good food, good drink, and good camaraderie! Our next TIAGDTD will be held August 29th. All Klingons are invited to attend as our honored guests!
