Members from all over descended upon Starbase Indy this year for the annual General Assembly!
We hosted two nights of room parties, had an entire room dedicated to Klingon programming, The Klingon Pop Warrior performed and was listed as Cultural Ambassador, and Robert O’Reilly and Marc Okrand were both guests of honor this year. Klingon language and culture were a huge part of the con this year!
A mighty majQa’ & Qapla’ must go to naHqun (Michael Roney, Jr.) for coordinating the entire event. He was unable to attend at the last minute due to an illness in his family but the work he did insured a smooth running con, overall!
Room food was plentiful in the form of a nice spicy curry, tasty veggie chili, homemade sourdough pancakes, and snacks! And it wouldn’t be a Klingon party without plenty of bloodwine! We offered both a hot & cold version this year as well as Romulan Ale! We got great feedback on our party, our panels, and our overall presence at the con this year. We even had a KAG member take Best Overall in the costume masquerade! On to the pictures (because that’s what you’re here for anyway)!
