AER: Raid on Canada Post

The 50th Anniversary of Star Trek has come with some glorious developments! Star Trek Beyond is set to premiere this summer, a new Trek series has been announced for 2017, and recently Canada Post and the Royal Canadian Mint announced the launch of a line of commemorative stamps and coins.

Upon learning this, tlharnoQ reached out to the local Post Office to make arrangements for a photo op. Due to some unusual regulations concerning photography in post offices, it took some time to make this happen. But at last, we received word!

The time set by Canada Post was in the middle of the day, so not all of our warriors could be mustered in time. However, we were able to have our Vulcan attache, Lurs and her Federation colleague join us, and Dhivanni was able to be outfitted with some components on loan from Ghob’Qan. The human staff were understandably thrilled to have Klingon warriors on hand. They seemed rather pleased with the Federation presence as well.

From there, O’C’Tav, Maj’vIq and Dhivanni proceeded to the 101 Mall where one of our new crewmates, Te’kal was stationed. She was unable to join us for the raid, but invited us to stop by Nana and Opa’s Kitchen for a celebratory coffee afterward. Here too e were well received. Te’kal’s co-worker had us pose for photos for the restaurant, and gave us complimentary brownies, which were fantastic. Human food is normally so bland to the pallet of a Klingon, but there is something to be said for homestyle brownies!

Raid complete and victory celebrated, we were able to survey our plunder:
