Several months ago, our local Amazon Fulfillment Center announced a tour and open house to be held on September 14th.
So on the appointed date, several of us got together and met in the Amazon parking lot only to find out that the event had been rescheduled to the following weekend.
So on the 21st, we once again gathered in their parking lot.
This time, we were greeted with the sights bouncy castles, trains, and a local fire truck and engine.
naHQun, Varra, cha”Iv, and Scotland met up with yIH’a’na’ and her mate and prepared to enter the facility for the tour. This involved signing an NDA and agreeing to not take any pictures.
“Amazon asked us to swear a binding oath not to reveal their military secrets, which of course we will honor! However, it does not violate this oath to say that their facility is glorious and we will be making considerable use of it when we conquer this planet!” ~yIH’a’na’
After the tour concluded, we conquered bouncy castles, obtained free food and drink, rode a train, saw the fire truck and engine up close, learned the difference between a fire truck and fire engine, and had faces painted.
qu’wI’ reports that she was present, but with the large crowd of people, we never saw each other.
yIH’a’na’ ‘s shuttle was sabotaged by Romulans during the event and one of the nacelles had to be worked on. She reports that an Amazonian warrior lent her his toolkit to make the necessary repairs.
