Heroes Con, sponsored by Shelton Drum’s Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find, was held Father’s Day weekend in June 2015. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday KAG members came together and raised a total of $1,800 for charity: $900 for Catawba Regional Hospice and $900 for Kwanzaa Family Inn women’s shelter. Thanks to everyone who supported, including Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find and all who donated money. Also, heartfelt thanks to the Warriors who participated, including Kate Foil (Fiya), Kyle Pressley (Chamber), and everyone else whose name I have forgotten. Your hard work and dedication was much appreciated. All participating Warriors get a battle notch. Qapla’!
