FAN EXPO
Stardate: 201308.22-25
Award: battle notch
Krikor’s Log: This large, corporate-run mega-convention is Toronto’s version of San Diego Comic Con. We always try to make sure there are at least a few Klingons in attendance.
Thursday evening I went down in my fleet tee shirt to pick up my wristband. I hung out for a bit at the Toronto Steampunk table; while there I gave recruit wejpong (Ian) his gold TOS vest.
Friday I wore my TOS, and saw wejpong (Ian) there in his.
Saturday I wore my black Imperial Klingon.
Sunday the Klingon Justice League got together for the first time. I wore my Klingon Batman, K’Lark was Klingon Superman, K’Jad was Klingon Green Lantern, and T’ark was Klingon Green Arrow. We did a bit of a photo shoot, and toured the dealers room (where we had many other photos taken of us).
Recruit Chris Warrilow has chosen a Klingon name, and will hereby be known as Khaldraq. K’Lel reports that he was in TOS uniform for the latter part of Sunday afternoon, after M’Rel and I had left.
Attending in human guise were: M’rel, Khaldraq, Z’tanna, K’tarra, Kaiju, M’rok, D’yana, Sh’yera, Kujin, and possibly others I missed.
Members attending in uniform receive a battle notch. T’Ark, with his tenth notch, becomes a Leader of the First Order. Recruit wejpong (Ian MacNaughton) received and wore his TOS uniform at the con, and therefore not only is recognized as a Warrior for earning his first battle notch, but is hereby promoted to Second Lieutenant, with the honorific of tai. Qapla’, and wiggedy, wiggedy!
Attending in uniform:
Krikor (Krikor Ajemian)
T’ark (Todd Clark)
K’Lark (Bryan Cook)
K’Jad (Sajjad Din)
wejpong (Ian MacNaughton)
K’Lel (David Ross)
Log ends.
