MAKE $$$ IN YOUR SPARE TIME!!
Okay people, K'Jett here, and my question for you is this: Do any of you talented people out there want to make some money? Then CONTACT me! How will this help you make money? Well, it's my job to answer questions, get people started on their own costumes or tell them where they can buy weapons, costumes, rank pins, etc. I have a basic list of costuming resources that I forward to anyone who asks. I am asking for more artisans and costumers to email me and let me know what they do. If you like, I can add you to the resources list so that new members will get word of what you have to offer.

My current list isn't very long, and I damn well know that there are more talented people out there than I have on this list! House Veska ( www.houseveska.org ) is a good example of some really talented and clever people with a kick-ass website--and they're not the only ones!

I want to hear from you. If you sell anything costume/club related, let me know who you are.

In the meantime, I will pass on some 'light', ha, ha, reading for those of you who really want to get into "The Headpiece Making Process."

Books on headpieces and mask-making I recommend:

1. Techniques of Three-Dimensional Make-up, by Lee Baygan
2. The Monster Makers Mask Makers Handbook, by Arnold Goldman
3. Grand Illusions, the Art and Technique of Special Make-up Effects, by Tom Savini
4. The Prop Builder's Molding and Casting Handbook, by Thurston James
5. The Prop Builder's Mask Making Handbook, by Thurston James

For additional info or ordering some of these books, visit these
websites:
1. www.halloweenmart.com
2. www.monstermakers.com
and naturally, you can try www.amazon.com or the like.

Who says you can't get great stuff from the Quartermistress?!
XOXOXO,
K'Jett
