It seems every Fleet and Division of KAG is reporting growth into new Projects and Teams. This is a magnificent sight for sore eyes. The more we appreciate the diverse talents on our ships and the diverse interests of our members everywhere, and SHARE those, the fuller we find our arsenals. KAG is rich with talent, shared enthusiasm, and borderless friendships/camaraderie.

SPECIAL TASK FORCES

Every time members find something new and different that they want to do, and agree that it's a way cool thing, they make a special team. It's the natural thing to do when there's something to be done. Nothing brings as much success as the lavishing of human (er um KLINGON) attention.

Occasionally, special teams are misunderstood. They might be viewed as 'disloyal' or 'separatists', even if they and their comrades have done nothing to burn bridges, harm siblings, or forget their roots. It is inevitable that new teams form, within ships and across boundaries, so we need to do everything we can to see the growing family encouraged.

Task Forces are a good road for strong growth. Here's some advice for what it's worth: Instead of forming "committees" who worry over issues of governance and control, just keep the focus simple. The Team has a Task, and it's something to be worked toward and celebrated. There you'll find the heart of unity and purpose.

I wish to congratulate our many successful KAG peers throughout the world. My special thanks to the Australian Engineers for the glory they've been sharing. Within Cyberspace Patrol, I congratulate the continued victories of E-Corps and ELINT, and I'm excited by the new resource books and electronics started in the KISS & KEWL departments.
