regard to weapons (real or replica, blade or firearm,

SECTION: 'THE RULES OF KAG'

Live Steel refers to any unsheathed metal or
edged weapon.
The unsheathing/wielding of real weapons in
public (i.e.outside of
your own home or room) is forbidden (except in masquerades, panels
and
sanctioned displays) and is considered a violation of KAG rules.

SECTION: 'RANKS AND HONORIFICS'
*Changes to this section include a list of four 'Non-Commissioned' rank steps to award non-uniformed members. They are:
Lance-Corporal
Corporal
Sergeant
Sergeant-Major
* The four above ranks are for non-uniformed adult members (age 16 and over).
* A new (non-uniformed) crew member's starting rank is now Lance-Corporal. This section replaces the older section on non-uniformed ranks which tied them to various ages. The above non-comm ranks are no longer used as cadet ranks (see section 'KAG's Cadet Corps' for new cadet ranks system).
* Criteria for promotion up these four non-comm ranks is at the discretion of the Ship Commander.
* The Commissioned rank of 2nd Lieutenant (also known as Lt. jg) is
immediately awarded upon the officer becoming uniformed.
(The rank designation for a non-uniformed
Ship Commander is still Ensign.)

*NEW STEP in the 'COMMISSIONED' RANKS: The honorific of 'sutai'
is now granted as an upgrade to the rank of Lt. Cmdr.

*KAG's Cadet Corps, age and process of ranks of cadets has been redefined.

*This section has been rewritten to describe ship formation outside
of the formal process. The section on Formal Ship Construction has
been reworded to indicate that the formal procedures are OPTIONAL and not
mandatory. The choice of whether to use formal or informal ship-starting
procedures is up to the Ship's CO.

*Text describing BattleNotch and Kill Stripe approval process has been reworded to state that the info is sent to the Fleet Commander or Division Head or his designee for approval (ie that the Fleet Commander may designate others to approve the awards).
