A Good Day to Dine – August 2014

I arrived at the very overcrowded King’s Biergarten and Restaurant on earth date Saturday, August 23, 2014 around 7 pm. It was time for our A Good Day to Dine event. Due to the popularity of the place, and it being a weekend, not to mention our number of 14 people, it was at least an hour before we got to sit at a table. Our party was made up of Klingons from the IKV Logh Veng, and Starfleet officers from the USS Zavala. We were served by two waitresses, but there was one who really went above and beyond. Her name was Heather G. If you ever get to go to this place we recommend asking for her to be your waitress.
There was singing, eating with hands (eating red cabbage with one’s fingers is tricky), and lots of laughter. A good time was had by all, and it was considered a success by all those present.
Special thanks to the crew of the USS Zavala for accompanying us. Though they outnumbered us 2-to-1, we still managed to make the event truly Klingon!
