IKS Tiburon After Event Report: Earth Date July 26 2014.
After the events of last year’s away mission to recover Borg tech from Security Service Field, which resulted with the loss of the IKS Krudge to the Borg Cube. The surviving members of the away team retreated and were later rescued. Upon my return to the Empire I was given temporary command of the IKS Kahlest , along with a new crew, K’embri ”Evelyn Boleyr” we spent the remainder of the solar year patrolling the remains of Praxis. It was the will of Kahless that we intercepted a transmission from the Human Jon Eddy to StarFleet, a single Borg drone had survived the battle the previous year. If we could defeat the drone and procure its technology, Our honor would be restored, I could be give a seat on the high council, or perhaps make me the next chancellor.
Setting maximum warp we made route to Earth Colorado Springs to the Security Service field when there was a change in the Borg’s life signs. There were now two; Starfleet must have let the drone assimilate one of the “Baseball” fans. Once we reached Earth I lead a landing party of Eight made up of myself Ler’aQ “Lee Montgomery”, K’embri, other House VamPyr members T’Sroh, and T’ane as well as other fine Warriors to confront Starfleet and take the Drone for ourselves. The Pa’tak Starfleet officers graciously surrendered to us under that the guise that the Drone was right behind us. The Drone was now severed from the hive mind and had spent the last year assimilating technology to make him stronger than an average Drone. We engaged the Borg only to be subdued yet again. We made a hasty retreat as the Drone tried to assimilate the rest of the on looking fans. The sudden arrival of Admiral Checkov and special task force we able to defeat and destroy what should have been our prize. Losing this battle we returned to our ship, and set Course for the Neutral zone. The Second Colorado Sky Sox Star Trek Theme night was a huge success. Special guest Walter Koeing threw out the first pitch of the second of a double header of game, reprised his role as Admiral Chekov, posed for pictures and signed autographs. I was an amazing night in all and the event was GLORIOUS!
